About the role
We are seeking a Network Engineer to design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure. This role involves managing routing, switching, security, and application delivery systems. The engineer will serve as a Tier 3 technical lead for complex network issues.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise routing and switching fabrics utilizing Cisco switches and software-defined branch networks powered by Cisco Meraki.
- Manage perimeter security and zero-trust policies via Palo Alto firewalls and Aruba Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
- Configure and support high-availability application delivery using F5 load balancers and maintain secure remote access networks via F5 VPN.
- Deploy enterprise-grade wireless networks using Aruba Wi-Fi controllers and establish primary/failover cellular endpoints using Cradlepoint technology.
- Serve as a Tier 3 technical lead for complex routing, switching, load balancing, wireless, and security issues.
Requirements
- High proficiency with Cisco enterprise switches (e.g., Catalyst, Nexus series), standard routing protocols, VLANs, and spanning-tree optimizations.
- Hands-on experience writing and auditing security profiles, NAT rules, and decryption policies on Palo Alto firewalls (PAN-OS).
- Advanced knowledge of F5 BIG-IP infrastructure, including Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Global Traffic Manager (GTM), and SSL orchestration.
- Strong experience managing wireless infrastructure with Aruba Wi-Fi and controlling network access policies through Aruba ClearPass (NAC).
- Operational proficiency with Cisco Meraki dashboard orchestration and Cradlepoint NetCloud manager for cellular backup links.
- 15+ years of dedicated network engineering experience, with at least 5 years actively configuring the specified vendor hardware.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco: CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) or CCNP Enterprise/Security
- Palo Alto: PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
- F5: F5-CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
- Aruba: ACMP (Aruba Certified Mobility Professional) or ACCP (Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional)
Schedule
Standard working hours are 40 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
