Network DevOps Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Network DevOps Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. The ideal candidate is responsible for automating network operations using Ansible and Terraform, while creating, managing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support scalable and secure network infrastructure. Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Network DevOps Developer Job Responsibilities Include Provide SME support and day-to-day administration of enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud network infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.Design, automate, and manage network provisioning and operations using Ansible, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support network automation, configuration management, and cloud deployments.Perform network lifecycle management activities, including firmware upgrades, IOS patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration governance.Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, connectivity, routing, switching, VPN, and user access issues while ensuring high availability and performance.Collaborate with cloud teams, ISPs, and third-party vendors to support cloud-hosted workloads, hardware maintenance, and network service delivery. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.10+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or Network DevOps environments.Expert-level experience managing enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, and Cloud Networking environments across Azure, AWS, Cisco, HPE, Meraki, and Ubiquiti platforms.Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell scripting, and CI/CD pipeline management for network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
