Network Deploy Technician, Infra - GND
About the role
The Network Deploy Technician position involves scaling support of several data center locations and assisting in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale the network. This role requires close collaboration with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
- Provide technical support for networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
- Specify Power and Cooling requirements and ensure Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
- Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
- Travel within and outside of regional work area as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
- 1+ years of computer networking experience
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR, and power meters
Skills
- Experience supporting large scale, enterprise class networks
- Network implementation and troubleshooting experience

Pay
The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

- GA, ATLANTA - 27.00 - 48.00 USD hourly
- MS, Canton - 25.00 - 44.00 USD hourly
- NV, SPARKS - 27.00 - 48.00 USD hourly
- TX, DALLAS - 27.00 - 48.00 USD hourly
- TX, Wharton - 27.00 - 48.00 USD hourly
Schedule
Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds. Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after-hours support as needed. Working in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environments. Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day. Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.
