Network & Computer Systems Administrator - Intermediate

About the role

This role supports our Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
• Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
• Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
• Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
• Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
• May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

Requirements

• BS in Relevant Discipline and 3+ years of Experience.
• One of the following Certs: CompTIA Cloud+ ; CompTIA Security+ ; GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) ; GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) ; Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Top Secret SAP/SCI (must be a US Citizen).

• Windows admin with Linux aptitude; Windows Server (required); AD (required); Windows Desktop (required); Linux (required).
• Desired skillset: VMware (desired) ; Rail (desired); Ansible (desired); Powershell (desired); Networking (desired).

$160,000 - $180,000
