Network Architect
Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of a large technology consulting firm for an experienced Network Architect to design and modernize enterprise network infrastructure for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves shaping network strategy at scale, working on complex, high-visibility engagements across data center, cloud, and campus environments.

Day-to-day, you will move between architecture design sessions, hands-on configuration work, and client-facing strategy conversations, often juggling multiple engagements. Responsibilities
- Design and document scalable, secure network architectures for enterprise clients
- Lead network infrastructure assessments and translate findings into actionable roadmaps
- Architect LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center network solutions
- Evaluate and select networking hardware, software, and cloud connectivity solutions
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure network designs meet compliance and risk standards
- Oversee network implementation projects from design through deployment
- Create detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Serve as a technical advisor and escalation point for client engagements
- Mentor junior network engineers and review their design work
- Stay current on emerging networking technologies and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8 or more years of experience in network engineering or architecture
- Deep expertise in routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Hands-on experience designing SD-WAN, MPLS, and hybrid cloud network solutions
- Strong knowledge of network security principles including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation
- Experience with major networking vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista
- CCNP or CCIE certification preferred
- Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to lead technical projects across multiple concurrent engagements

Pay
The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
