Network and Capacity Planner

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Capacity Management Plans for data centers
• Build and maintain reporting to support capacity forecasting and tracking
• Analyze demand trends to recommend infrastructure augmentations
• Manage inventory tracking for data center hardware, focusing on network switching
• Support infrastructure expansion initiatives and track deployment milestones
• Monitor service contracts and renewals for network infrastructure
• Manage work orders and improve documentation workflows in systems like Nlyte and Salesforce

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in IT supporting data center design, operations, or project management
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of telecommunications network design and capacity planning principles
• Proficiency in analyzing data trends and infrastructure constraints
• Ability to build and document reports for capacity management and planning

Pay

$101,000 – $121,000 annually
