Our Data Center Development department supports the company's fast growth by sourcing and building hyper-scale data centers and vastly distributed global edge networks. The AMS&EU Network Acquisition team focuses on acquiring co-locations and network connectivities to support edge and backbone network infrastructure in the Americas and EMEA regions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in identifying and evaluating infrastructure resources such as co-location, dark fiber, transport network, and IP connectivity to help meet traffic demand.
  • Assist with commercial and technical discussions with candidate suppliers, under guidance from senior negotiators.
  • Help coordinate supplier agreements and contracts, working with cross-functional teams to track milestones and deliverables.
  • Contribute to acquisition strategy discussions for short, mid, and long-term planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders: Strategy, Planning, Engineering, Legal, and Finance, to support shared goals.
  • Conduct market research and help build market intelligence on suppliers and industry trends.
  • Support supplier onboarding and help maintain supplier relationship records throughout the lifecycle.
  • Help nurture supplier relationships in support of long-term strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Coursework, internship, or project experience related to infrastructure, telecom, data centers, or supply chain/sourcing is a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); willingness to learn tools like Jira and contract management platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship, co-op, or academic project experience touching data centers, ISPs/carriers, CDNs, IX providers, or edge co-location.
  • Exposure to basic contract or negotiation concepts (through coursework, case competitions, or internships).
  • Interest in developing commercial and technical acumen for infrastructure decision-making.
  • A "Day 1" mindset, curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to take on new and challenging projects.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $72,200 - $121,600 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
