Key Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in supporting post-deployment DAA system cutovers, ensuring network stability and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, service operations, and field teams to troubleshoot node, DOCSIS, and video service issues arising after customer migrations.
- Provide real-time operational support and technical guidance to field personnel, assisting with complex problem resolution.
- Identify recurring technical issues, document incidents, and work with engineering teams to implement long-term corrective actions.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication across shifts to ensure seamless handoffs, effective knowledge sharing, and smooth operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through detailed documentation and analysis of troubleshooting efforts and resolutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a process-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools, troubleshooting software, and general computer literacy.
- Experience with device configuration, network troubleshooting, and operational support within Video or DOCSIS environments.
- Knowledge of video transport, encryption, conditional access systems, and network core concepts.
- Ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure and adapt to evolving priorities.
Preferred Certifications & Knowledge
- Experience with CMTS/DOCSIS operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Understanding of analog transmission lines, fiber optics, and electronic theory.
- Familiarity with DOCSIS modulation profiles, provisioning components such as TFTP, TOD, and CM files.
- Awareness of DOCSIS standards, CCAP, and access network platforms.
Publishing Pay Rate
Publishing Pay Rate: $45.00 - $50.00 USD Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from any approved location within the United States.
