NetSuite Solution Technical Architect

About the role

Our client is a growing organization with multiple sister brands operating on NetSuite. They currently work with a large external consultancy but are looking for a senior technical leader to take greater ownership of the relationship and ensure they are getting the right technical and commercial value. This is a hands-on Solution Architect role combining technical leadership, consultancy management and commercial oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the relationship with the external NetSuite consultancy.
• Challenge technical solutions, delivery approach, timelines and commercial value.
• Act as the senior technical authority across multiple NetSuite environments and brands.
• Design and oversee scalable NetSuite solutions, integrations and customizations.
• Get hands-on with NetSuite where required, including troubleshooting and technical delivery.
• Work with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Help shape the wider NetSuite roadmap and determine where internal vs. consultancy support is required.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities across the wider NetSuite estate.

Requirements

• Extensive NetSuite technical/architecture experience.
• Strong background in NetSuite consultancy or technical consulting.
• Proven experience managing and challenging external consultancies or implementation partners.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SuiteScript, integrations, APIs, workflows and customizations.
• Excellent commercial awareness and ability to assess solutions from both a technical and business perspective.
• Strong stakeholder and consultancy management skills.
• Comfortable operating strategically while still getting into the technical detail when required.
• The ideal candidate is someone who can sit between the business, technical teams and consultancy, take ownership of the engagement, challenge the status quo and still roll their sleeves up and get hands-on.

Pay

$100-$110/hr

Schedule

6-month initial contract with strong potential to become a long-term engagement.
