About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior NetSuite CPQ Developer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing configure-price-quote (CPQ) solutions within the NetSuite platform to support our sales and operational teams. This role requires a deep understanding of NetSuite CPQ functionalities, including guided selling, pricing logic, and quote workflows, as well as proficiency in SuiteScript and SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF). The Senior NetSuite CPQ Developer will collaborate closely with sales operations, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate complex pricing and quoting requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of overall software development experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to NetSuite development. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in configuring product rules, pricing engines, guided selling, and quote templates. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SuiteScript modules such as N/record, N/search, and N/https is required. Experience with SuiteTalk web services, RESTlets, and integrations with CRM systems will be highly valued. Candidates should also have familiarity with SDF, version control systems like Git, and development tools such as Visual Studio Code and RequireJS. Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role. Responsibilities The Senior NetSuite CPQ Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom CPQ solutions within NetSuite. This includes configuring product rules, pricing logic, guided selling questions, quote templates, and approval workflows using SuiteFlow. The developer will extend and customize the CPQ module to support complex product configurations, discount strategies, and quote-to-order processes, ensuring seamless integration with CRM and other core modules. They will translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and scalable architecture, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with platform governance limits. The role involves conducting code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and mentoring junior developers on best practices. Troubleshooting and resolving configuration errors, script performance issues, and data integrity problems are key responsibilities. Additionally, the developer will manage SDF bundles, support CI/CD deployment practices, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scope enhancements, estimate efforts, and support platform upgrades will be integral to the role.
