Netsuite Administrator Lead

About the role
This role is open in either our CA or MN office. We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Application Lead with a strong focus on financials and 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience. This role will work closely with business stakeholders supporting operations, design, and delivery of NetSuite solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong knowledge of NetSuite capabilities with a solid understanding of financial and accounting business processes. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to work closely with business leadership and play an important part in shaping and evolving our ERP landscape. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence both strategic transformation initiatives and day-to-day business operations, take ownership of key NetSuite capabilities, drive process improvements and automation, and contribute to the continued evolution of our financial systems.
Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot NetSuite application and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis and drive issues through resolution.
- Administer users, roles, permissions, workflows and application security.
- Develop and maintain Saved Searches, reports, dashboards, workflows, and other NetSuite configurations.
- Own and triage application issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners as needed.
- Review NetSuite biannual releases, assess business impact, and provide recommendations on relevant new functionality.
- Support integration between NetSuite and other enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with consulting and implementation partners to design and deliver effective business solutions.
Functional Responsibilities
- Serve as the NetSuite SME, translating Finance, Procurement and business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Drive process improvements and support financial operations, close, reconciliations, reporting and issue resolution.
- Develop Saved Searches, Workbooks, reports and dashboards to support business insights and decision-making.
- Manage NetSuite enhancements end-to-end from requirements and design through configuration, testing, deployment and support.
- Partner with business and technology teams to prioritize enhancements, evaluate new capabilities and maximize platform value.
- Lead user training, documentation, knowledge transfer and adoption of NetSuite processes and capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Finance or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience spanning administration, implementation, and techno-functional support, with strong expertise in financial business processes.
- Knowledge of Finance, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Reporting, Month-end Close and Intercompany transactions.
- Hands-on experience debugging application issues, Saved Searches, Integrations, workflows and customizations.
- Experience with supporting Audit and Compliance requests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite Fixed Asset Management, NSPB, and SuiteProjects.
- Experience with Celigo/iPaaS and NetSuite integrations with Salesforce, UKG, banking, and other enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of grant/fund accounting, government contracting, and financial controls.
- NetSuite certifications.
Pay
$105,000 - $120,000 / year
