NetOps Specialist Senior

About the role

The NetOps Specialist Senior will perform enterprise network operations and engineering support for a broad range of programs, specifically for the Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program. SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy, and Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management.

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, configures, troubleshoots, and manages Cisco Enterprise networking solutions.
• Interfacing with end-users for the purpose of designing and implementing network solutions and design recommendations.
• Maintains computer and network systems to improve network performance and reliability.
• Works independently managing daily tasks and organizes time without needing close supervision.
• Collaborates with coworkers and customers to share updates and solutions to problems.
• Coordinates infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery.
• Reviews root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues.
• Supports the Cyber Team in employing defense-in-depth principles and practices.
• Aids in the collection of intrusion artifacts and uses discovered data to mitigate potential CND incidents.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance. Benefits

Pay Range: $92,300.00 - $166,850.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
