About the role

A leading provider of automation solutions within the life sciences is seeking a talented .NET Developer to join its growing team. This role focuses on building and enhancing modular, scalable systems that automate storage and processing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance modular, scalable systems that automate storage and processing
  • Leverage technologies such as C#, .NET framework and Core, WPF, XAML and SQL
  • Work within a Windows-based environment
  • Influence design and engineering best practices
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software/product development experience
  • Strong expertise in C# development within Windows environments
  • Experience with multi-threading and multi-processor application development
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design (OOD/OOP) and design patterns
  • Experience developing software that interfaces with electro-mechanical systems or hardware
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Proven ability to design and build OEM or customer-facing software solutions
  • Experience with WPF
  • Knowledge of SQL and database design principles
  • Experience with OCR or computer vision technologies
  • Background in automation, robotics, or scientific instrumentation
