.NET Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on development for strategic web initiatives across the full software development lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor a hybrid team of internal and vendor developers, establishing coding standards, best practices, and technical direction.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, review, and approve technical solutions, ensuring alignment with architecture, security, performance, and maintainability standards.
• Contribute directly to front-end, back-end, API, and cloud development while supporting team delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and drive improvements in quality, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Communicate project status, technical risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack development experience, including experience leading technical teams and solution delivery.
• Expert in .NET, C#, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS/CSS, REST APIs, and modern web application development.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cosmos DB/MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience with Azure PaaS/SaaS services, Azure DevOps, and Git-based source control.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, microservices, event-driven design, and cloud-native development.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code quality tools, and engineering best practices.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, and SSO is a plus.
• Proven ability to mentor developers, drive technical decisions, and coordinate delivery across distributed teams.
• Demonstrated proficiency using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery outcomes.
