Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of scalable web and cloud-based applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and healthcare compliance standards.
- Modernize legacy systems by transforming them into agile, service-oriented, and cloud-native solutions, leveraging the latest Microsoft technologies.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and healthcare practitioners to gather requirements and define innovative technical solutions.
- Develop robust REST APIs, microservices, and intuitive web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and related frameworks.
- Oversee application performance optimization, troubleshooting, and provide ongoing production support, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Drive best practices in secure coding, code reviews, quality assurance, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure, AWS, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Manage migration projects involving cloud platforms, data integration, and enterprise system modernization to support organizational digital transformation.
- Mentor and lead development teams, providing technical guidance, fostering best practices, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure solutions comply with healthcare regulations, standards, and audit requirements, focusing on security, privacy, and data integrity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 15+ years of extensive experience in enterprise application development, specifically in healthcare technology solutions.
- Deep expertise in backend development with C#, ASP.NET (MVC, Web API), .NET Framework, .NET Core, and microservices architecture.
- Strong front-end skills with React.js, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, and data engineering, including stored procedures, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, as well as DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Knowledge of modernization tools and platforms like Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and Databricks.
- Understanding of healthcare industry standards, including Medicare, Medicaid, HEDIS, STARS, and healthcare compliance reporting.
- Proven leadership in managing complex modernization initiatives, distributed teams, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
