Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (hybrid) – 12-month contract
About the role
We are seeking an Application Programmer to develop, enhance, and maintain regulatory reporting applications for Enterprise Stress Testing Technology within Finance Technology. This role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs, as well as supporting activities for the corporate systems architecture. The successful candidate will work closely with business partners to define requirements for system applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain complex software applications.
- Design, code, test, and debug programs according to specifications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system architecture and processes.
- Collaborate with business partners to gather and define system application requirements.
- Provide ongoing support for developed applications.
- Adhere to development standards and best practices within a regulated environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of experience in C# .NET development, focusing on new projects or significant feature enhancements.
- A minimum of three years of recent experience with ASP.Net.
- A minimum of four years of experience building Web Applications using CSS, HTML, ASP.Net, and Visual Studio.
- Experience with SQL Server 2014 or a more recent version.
- Proficiency with Tableau or MicroStrategy.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using REST Web Services and JSON.
- Experience working in a SCRUM Agile environment.
- Experience working in a highly regulated and change-controlled environment.
- Intermediate knowledge and skill set with database design, development, and implementation.
- Intermediate knowledge and skill set with Blazor web design, development, and implementation.
- Intermediate knowledge and skill set with unit test frameworks such as Selenium or xUnit.
