Job Description
The Nebraska Department of Transportation/ Business Technology Support Division is seeking a dedicated C# Application Developer/Analyst.
This position would be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing on the designated project ensuring that the goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and requirements.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive and forward-thinking developer who can take ownership of projects and lead technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technical degree in Computer Science/Software Development (or equivalent combination of education and minimum 7+ year's web/software development experience).
- Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with:
- .NET Framework/.NET Core/ASP.NET
- C#ASP.NET MVC and/or Web API development
- ADO.NET /Entity Framework
- XML and XSD Schemas (Altova XMLSpy or oXygen XML Developer is a plus)
- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular and or React.js
- Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL
- SQL (Structured Query Language)
- Experience with using Azure DEVOPS (or similar tools)
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Experiences working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Strong understanding of full-stack development (front-end, middle-tier, back-end)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Explore and gain a thorough understanding of the business
- Perform analysis and document process flows
- Capture business requirements and assist with design and development
- Implement fixes based on findings of Quality Assurance Analysts
