Our field-leading experts and deep experience allow us to provide rigorous analysis, reliable expert testimony, and data-powered policy recommendations for the world’s leading law firms, corporations, regulators, and governments.

About the role

We are looking for an intellectually curious, independent-minded team player with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our International Arbitration line of business as a Senior Consultant or Director. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with economists and industry experts in applying quantitative methods to address economic and financial topics, including asset valuation, regulatory analysis, and market analysis within international arbitration, cross-border commercial disputes, and regulatory proceedings across multiple industries worldwide.

Ideal candidates will bring experience across key verticals such as financial services and securities, insurance, banking, and other sectors. Qualified candidates will have 6-8+ years of experience and be experts in supporting international arbitration on high-value matters. They should have experience in testifying, leading projects, and managing P&L. Candidates will operate independently, build and run a “microbusiness” inside a broader platform, and own client relationships while delivering high-quality work.

NERA offers opportunities for growth and professional development, allowing progression from a seasoned senior to expert, and the ability to work across a broad range of industries, including mining, infrastructure, and energy. Our flat structure enables Partners to own P&L, manage teams, lead client work, and foster a collegial environment with strong collaboration across the firm. We provide world-class support staff, including PhDs, top-tier STEM talent, and significant project management and analytical resources, along with strong brand recognition in regulatory and litigation arenas.
