Nephrology Nurse Practitioner

About the role

A casual NP/PA is sought to join a nephrology team within an integrated health system.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic kidney disease.
• Collaborate with nephrologists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Support dialysis and inpatient consult services as needed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, adjust medications, and document in the EHR.
• Educate patients and their families to promote understanding and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in nephrology.

• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Proficiency in EHR documentation and diagnostic interpretation.
