Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NP)

About the role

This facility is seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens support in an inpatient setting, focusing on Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cases without surgical sub-specialties.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases including Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pneumothorax, Sepsis, Seizures
• Stabilize surgical cases for transport out
• Care for Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW) infants and Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS)

Requirements

• Active Michigan nursing license
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Credentialing timeframe: 60 days

Schedule

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM in the facility, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM on-call, 24 hours a day
• 10–14 days per month
• Available shifts: 12-hour, 24-hour, weekend, and on-call

Pay

$97.00 – $105.00 per hour
