Neonatologist - Research Scientist

Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical care in a high-acuity Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), managing complex neonatal cases.
  • Drive neonatal research initiatives, emphasizing translational science, organ development, and outcomes.
  • Shape and implement a nationally recognized neonatal research agenda.
  • Collaborate within an integrated maternal–fetal–neonatal clinical and research continuum.
  • Build and develop research programs, recruit faculty, and utilize state-of-the-art core facilities.
  • Engage in population-level research leveraging a statewide referral base.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Expertise in neonatology with a strong research background.
  • Leadership experience in academic or clinical settings.
  • Strong collaborative, interdisciplinary approach.
  • Ability to secure and lead translational and implementation research projects.
