Neonatal Pediatric Hospitalist
Responsibilities
- Attend high-risk deliveries
- Provide neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
- Diagnose and manage newborn medical conditions
- Care for premature and medically complex infants in conjunction with the Neonatologists
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Experience In Neonatal Care
Skills
- Newborn airway management including intubation
- Umbilical arterial and venous catheter placement
About the Role
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Hospitalist to join our established neonatal team at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care across the NICU and Newborn Nursery while working alongside experienced neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a collaborative environment.

- Approximately 1,700 annual deliveries
- In-house 12 or 24 hour shifts supporting work-life balance
