About the role

Seeking a per diem, experienced NNP to join our expanding team of 5 NNPs, 2 Pediatricians, PNPs and 4 board-certified neonatologists.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level III neonatology services at both Northside Hospital Forsyth and Northside Hospital Cherokee.
  • Expand team from 4+ NNPs to 8+ NNPs for 24/7 coverage at both locations.
  • Provide NBN care in Newborn Nursery, including HFOV, iNO, whole body cooling for HIE, EEG, and milk prep.
  • Work closely with Pediatric Hospitalist Service and sub-specialists.

Requirements

  • Current APRN national specialty certification.
  • Minimum of a master’s degree.
  • Georgia license required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Skills

  • Proficiency in neonatal care protocols.
  • Ability to manage complex cases.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
