Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem)

About the role

Opportunity to provide coverage at two Level III NICUs: Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City (43‑bed NICU, ADC 29) and Norman Regional Hospital (26‑bed NICU, ADC 14.12). The role involves assessing critically ill neonates, attending high‑risk deliveries, and seeing well newborns in collaboration with neonatologists. This is a per‑diem position with 12‑hour in‑house shifts. Pediatrix covers travel expenses (round‑trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for clinicians residing outside a commutable distance, and the position is W‑2.

Responsibilities

• Assess critically ill neonates
• Attend high‑risk deliveries
• See well newborns
• Collaborate with neonatologists

Requirements

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• OK active license or ability to obtain license
• Minimum of 1 year’s NNP experience
