Neonatal - Nurse Practitioner (36 hour,full-time) – Henry Ford St. John Hospital
Position Overview
Henry Ford Health is seeking a full-time (36 hours/week) Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the dedicated neonatology team at Henry Ford St. John Children’s Hospital. This role provides oversight of Level III neonatal care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Delivers comprehensive neonatal care
- Performs bedside procedures
- Attends deliveries
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- BCLS certification
- Certification in one of the following: ANA certification exam in a nursing specialty field, National Certification Corporation (NCC), National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Associates, and/or Certification from Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
- Certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan
- Licensure and Certification
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Michigan, or in process of applying (must have proof of application)
- National certification as an NP
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- DEA/CSL, required through credentialing
- Experience
- Credentialing: RN State of Michigan, National Board NNP Certification, BLS, NRP and Master of Nursing, required
- Federal DEA License

Starting Bonus Eligibility
To be eligible for a sign-on bonus, candidates must be external applicants with a minimum of three (3) years of Neonatal Nurse Practitioner experience. Internal transfers are not eligible. Continued employment in the same department, location, and benefit status and maintaining good standing is required to receive all bonus payments.
