Position Details
The position is with Pediatrix, the contracted NICU group with a 35-bed Level III NICU. The average daily census is 23-25. The NNP coverage model includes 24-hour shifts plus a second NNP on the day shift. The NNP may attend high-risk deliveries as assigned.
Position Requirements
- NNP experience preferred
- New NP grads considered if they have 3+ years NICU nursing experience
- Graduate of an approved, accredited nursing program
- Certified Neonatal NP, or ability to obtain certification
- Board Certified

About the Hospital
Northwest Children's Hospital provides compassionate care to children and their families with 29 private, spacious inpatient rooms and a 12-bed PICU. The hospital has been a pioneer in Neonatal intensive care since 1974 and has the largest NICU in the region, a 35-bed Level III NICU.
