About the role
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Madisonhealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care to neonates. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively with physicians about patient conditions, respond promptly to changes in patient status, and participate in performance improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the NICU, assessing and planning individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
- Perform general nursing duties in the NICU.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required within 6 months of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP), required within 6 months of hire.
- Breastfeeding Basics Nurses Course (BBNC), required within one year of hire.
- STABLE certification, required within one year of hire.
- Cerner experience, preferred.
