About the role
The New England Journal of Medicine invites applications for a one-year, full-time, paid editorial fellowship starting in July 2027. Fellows will review and edit Images in Clinical Medicine submissions, write Clinical Decisions columns, suggest topics for the Review Article series, and contribute to various Journal projects.
Responsibilities
- Review and edit Images in Clinical Medicine submissions
- Write Clinical Decisions columns under supervision
- Suggest topics for the Review Article series
- Contribute to NEJM Evidence team work
- Participate in daily editorial activities and weekly meetings
Requirements
Candidates should have good medical judgment, be able to work independently, and have a strong command of written English. Successful candidates must reside in the Boston area for the duration of the fellowship.
