Neighborhood Canvasser - Hang Door Hangers

About the role

1-Tom-Plumber is growing and we're looking for an energetic, reliable Neighborhood Canvasser to help us get the word out. This is a walking, boots-on-the-ground role — you'll be going door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods, placing door hangers, and putting our name in front of homeowners. No sales pressure, no cold-calling scripts — just consistent, honest effort covering your route and representing a trusted local brand.

Responsibilities

• Walk assigned residential routes/neighborhoods distributing door hangers.
• Follow a provided route plan and cover it thoroughly and efficiently.
• Represent 1-Tom-Plumber professionally if you interact with homeowners.
• Track and report which areas/streets have been completed.
• Communicate with your supervisor on route progress, questions, or issues.

Benefits

• Bonus based on performance – bonus for every booked phone call generated from your route.
• Bonus for every job sold that traces back to your route.
• Uncapped bonus potential – your effort directly impacts your paycheck.
• Work outdoors and stay active instead of sitting at a desk.
• Be part of a growing, respected local plumbing brand.

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 20 hours/week. Flexible daytime scheduling (details discussed at interview).

Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation to reach assigned neighborhoods.
• Able to walk outdoors for extended periods, in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working independently and staying on task without direct supervision.
• Friendly, presentable, and reliable — you're often the first impression of our company.
• Must be able to pass a basic background check.
