Needle Board Technician

About the role

The Needle Board Technician ensures needle boards are in proper repair and working order. Regular maintenance includes removing all broken needles and recording necessary information on appropriate paperwork and/or computer. This position also involves training as a loom operator as a secondary skill.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair needle boards to ensure proper working order.
• Remove all broken needles from boards.
• Record maintenance information on paperwork and/or computer systems.
• Train as a loom operator to develop a secondary skill.

Requirements

• Frequent standing and walking for up to 10 hours a day.
• Frequent lifting, twisting, kneeling, and bending.
• Frequent lifting of 10 to 75 lbs (with some assistance).
• Fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
• Good vision and ability to distinguish color variations.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

First shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
