NDT RT Technician with Weld Quality

MISTRAS Group | Houma, LA | Full-Time MISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced NDT RT Technician to perform radiographic inspections and evaluate Weld Quality in accordance with applicable codes, customer specifications, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have industrial radiography experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to interpret radiographic images and assess weld integrity. Responsibilities Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections on welded components and industrial assetsSet up, calibrate, and operate RT equipmentInterpret radiographic images and evaluate weld qualityIdentify weld discontinuities such as porosity, slag inclusions, lack of fusion, incomplete penetration, and cracksVerify compliance with ASME, AWS, API, and customer requirementsPrepare accurate inspection reports and documentationFollow radiation safety and company safety proceduresSupport outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projectsWork overtime, nights, weekends, and travel assignments as needed Qualifications Industrial radiography experience requiredLevel II RT certification requiredMust have valid State CardState Radiographer Card and/or IRRSP certification preferredExperience evaluating weld quality and interpreting RT resultsKnowledge of applicable welding and inspection codesAbility to read technical drawings, procedures, and specificationsStrong communication and documentation skillsMust have Valid driver's license Must have TWIC CardHigh School Diploma or GEDMust be able to pass DISA background and drug/alcohol screening Preferred Qualifications Additional certifications: UT, MT, PT, VT & Offshore Safety TrainingExperience in refinery, fabrication, manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environmentsExperience with CR/DR systems Why MISTRAS?
