About the role
The NDT Quality Specialist 3 is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes and results.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and conduct NDT inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Develop and maintain NDT procedures and protocols to ensure consistent quality.
- Interpret test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Train and mentor NDT technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex quality issues.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in NDT techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing, Radiographic Testing, and Magnetic Particle Inspection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of quality management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in NDT or related field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
