About the role

The NDT Quality Specialist 3 is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes and results.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee and conduct NDT inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Develop and maintain NDT procedures and protocols to ensure consistent quality.
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Train and mentor NDT technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex quality issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in NDT techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing, Radiographic Testing, and Magnetic Particle Inspection.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of quality management systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in NDT or related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
