Summary

ATS is seeking an experienced Maritime NDT UTSW Tech to support our Santa Fe Springs, CA office. This position is open to experienced Level II NDT Techs. Additional certifications are preferred. Candidates must be local to LA County, CA or willing to relocate. This is a permanent position with benefits and a pay range of $30 to $35+ per hour based on experience and certifications held. Travel includes Southern California up to Oakland/SF area.

About the Role

This position involves performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on various maritime equipment and structures. Responsibilities include conducting tests according to established procedures, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting NDT inspections on maritime equipment and structures
  • Documenting test results and observations
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Interpreting test data and reporting findings
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met

Requirements

  • Experience as a Level II NDT Tech
  • Additional certifications preferred (e.g., ASNT Level III, AWS D1.4)
  • Local to LA County, CA or willing to relocate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of relevant NDT experience
  • Knowledge of applicable NDT methods and techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
