Essential Functions / Responsibilities: Assure that products are compliant with NDT specification(s) and VF quality standardsCalibration of equipment and record keepingDocument daily/monthly logs and recordsFill out NCF's, if issues are found with required informationFollow and establish W.I. and ProceduresSafety Sensitive PositionOther duties as needed or required Work Environment: Primary work environment is the office and the production floorAble to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAble to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shiftAbility to be aware of surroundings for safety concernsWhile performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be requiredEmployee maybe required to lead production shop toursEmployee will have meetings in the shop requiring the wearing of personal protective equipmentAbility to assist a machine operator to understand process flowAbility to be aware of surroundings for safety concernsAble to operate office equipment such as computers, copy machines, etcAble to sit for prolonged time periods plus occasion walking to stooping Required Skills and Qualifications: Ability to use all basic types of hand inspection equipment, i.e. hand tools (height gauge, caliper(s), micrometer(s))Basic computer knowledge (MS programs & company server)Must be able to work well with other departments and how to prioritize job dutiesHS Diploma or GED is mandatoryStrong work ethic and integrity is a MUST, as well as ability to practice discretion when having access to or handling confidential informationStrong verbal, written and team working skillsBasic agility dutiesMust be able to pass - Visual examination - Near vision acuity & color contrastMechanical aptitudeSelf-motivateMust be willing to learn the following:NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) disciplines in MPI, LPI & UT w/credentials as Level II extreme plus (Including Hardness, Magnetic Particle & Ultra-Sonic)Credentials at a minimum shall meet latest, NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A qualifications Special Requirements: Safety Sensitive: This job is designated by Valley Forge & Bolt Mfg.
