About the role

Nucor Data Systems, part of North America’s largest steel and steel products manufacturer, is assembling a hiring pool for semi-skilled production and support occupations. No prior manufacturing experience is required—all necessary training will be provided on the job. Some roles involve moderate to heavy lifting and can be physically demanding. Candidates must be willing to work any shift and maintain a drug-free environment. Safety leadership and adherence to safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential production and support tasks in a manufacturing environment
• Participate in on-the-job training to develop required skills
• Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and housekeeping standards
• Support team-based operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Willingness to work any shift as assigned
• Ability to meet physical demands including moderate to heavy lifting
• Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety practices and standards
• Ability to communicate in English for safety-critical tasks; portions of the hiring process are available in English and Spanish
