Responsibilities
- Perform Radiographic Inspections.
- Occasionally, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field or laboratory projects.
- Works independently or within team.
- Trains assistants on proper processes and procedures.
- Prepares reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
- Level II RT certification required with CR experience (CR is preferred).
- Other Level II NDT certifications and experience are beneficial and preferred (MT/UT/PT/VT).
- Post education in nondestructive testing preferred.
- Irradiation Safety Response (IRRSP) card for industrial radiography, preferred.
- 40 hour radiation safety training (RAD).
- TWIC badge a plus.
- Recent experience performing radiographic inspections, computed radiography experience preferred.
- Additional experience performing magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, and visual inspections is also preferred.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experienced with NDT equipment.
- Experienced with NDT methods and procedures.
- Must meet or exceed ASNT-TC-1A Level II requirement for experience and education.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Must be able to work off ladders and scaffold.
