About the role
Trench Safety Division at Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking individuals who are passionate about safety and ready to make a difference. The position offers competitive compensation starting at $42.30 - $53.85 per hour, based on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
Responsibilities
- Drive various trucks (knuckle boom flat bed, semi, and trailer trucks) to transport trench and MAP shoring to and from customer job sites.
- Perform assembly, testing, and inspection of equipment, including power washing and inventory control.
- Engage in yard duties such as maintaining customer relations, being courteous, professional, and helpful.
- Participate in team activities and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
- Class A CDL License and DOT Medical Card required (Sunstate will cover the cost of renewal if needed).
- Experience with flatbed and loading/unloading operations.
- Previous equipment rental experience is a plus.
- NCCCO certification and experience required.
- Knowledge of TWIC card is beneficial but not mandatory.
Qualifications
- Physical exertion required, including walking, standing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 90 pounds.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.

Pay
$42.30 - $53.85 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM. Can start as early as 6 AM.
