NCC Adjunct Faculty: Collision Repair Technology

About the role
Nashua Community College is seeking adjunct instructors for the Collision Repair Technology Program. This is a temporary position for the Fall 2024 semester.
Responsibilities
Candidates should be experienced in the following areas:
- Frame and Structural repair
- Automotive welding equipment and application (MIG, TIG, steel and aluminum)
- Paint and refinishing theory and application
- Electrical, HVAC theory and operation
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- An Associate degree in Auto Collision Repair Technology
- At least 5 years of experience as a technician
- Industry certifications such as Vehicle Manufacturer, ASE, I-CAR, and Aftermarket
- Higher education teaching experience preferred
- Experience using a learning management system (Blackboard or Canvas) preferred
- Engaged in community service
Qualifications
All applicants must possess ASE Certification in the area they will teach, preferably Master Certification (B2-B5) OR be able to obtain certification by the time classes begin.
Skills
Candidates should be able to teach effectively and engage students in the Collision Repair Technology Program.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $825-$975 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry/experience.
Schedule
The schedule is for the Fall 2024 semester.
