The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in cardiothoracic surgery with specific expertise in heart transplantation, ventricular assist devices (VAD), and complex cardiac surgery. Clinically, this surgeon will perform heart transplantations, participate in donor procurement, and manage temporary and durable MCS (LVAD/RVAD/ECMO), while supporting system growth by extending advanced cardiac surgical services across RWJBH Northern affiliates.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $550,000 - $700,000. This role is also eligible for additional compensation through performance and productivity-based incentives. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
