About the role
Join Arbor Day Farm as a Nature Interpreter and help create meaningful guest experiences while advancing the Foundation’s mission right here in Nebraska City.
Responsibilities
- Spend your days giving tours of the property.
- Be a part of a team providing excellent customer service to all guests and helping them explore the orchards, Tree Adventure, Apple House, and more.
- Educate guests of all ages about the Arbor Day Foundation’s mission and property.
- Inspire guests through your words to engage in the Foundation’s mission after experiencing time with you on our property.
Requirements
- Passion for hospitality, service, and the Foundation’s mission.
- Team-first mindset.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work with guests of all ages.
- Ability to lead outdoor activities and educational programs.
- Commitment to high standards.
Qualifications
- Experience working with the public or in a customer service role.
- Knowledge of Arbor Day Foundation’s mission and values.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons.
- Outdoor experience and knowledge of natural resources.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and ability to handle challenging situations.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
