About the role
Supervise lower-level Natural Resources Engineer(s) and Natural Resources Engineer Technician(s). Produce and/or review Engineer sealed plan sets and bid documents for construction. Provide technical assistance for development on future and current Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) projects sites. Assist with development and implementation of engineering procedures/policies. Act as a project manager for assigned projects.
Qualifications
- Certificate of registration as professional engineer issued by State Licensing Board
- 12 months experience as Natural Resources Engineer 2, 85742 or 12 months equivalent related engineering experience
- Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated licensure

Pay
Starting hourly pay of $40.40/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $57.67/hr. There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service.
Schedule
Full-time. M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM (subject to change).

Headquartered at one of the following locations: Fountain Square in Franklin County (2045 Morse Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43229), Zaleski office in Vinton County (29371 Wheelabout Rd., McArthur, Ohio 45651), Cambridge office in Guernsey County (9900 Brick Church Rd., Cambridge, Ohio 43725), or New Philadelphia office in Tuscarawas County (2207 Reiser Avenue SE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). The final headquarter location will be determined with the successful applicant.
