Responsibilities
- Prepares weekly sales and labor projections for the Vitamin & Body Care Department.
- Maintains department operations within the labor percentage allowed.
- Monitors and controls all costs and expenses.
- Hires, trains, schedules, coaches, and initiates performance reviews for department staff.
- Manages shift operations including writing and approving department work schedules.
- Ensures weekly flyer ads are in stock and ready for sale.
- Stocks and organizes all product items.
- Maintains cleanliness of the natural living aisles, storage area, and work area.
- Assists customers with inquiries and purchases.
- Inspects and logs products for shipment accuracy.
- Discards expired or spoiled products.
- Balances the natural living general ledger and financial statements.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency degree.
- Minimum of 4 years professional experience, preferably in grocery retail with Vitamin & Body Care department processes and procedures.
- Advanced attention to detail and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Advanced knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
- Knowledge of Health Department guidelines and regulations.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $30.05 per hour, with specific rates determined by experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team. Incentive bonus opportunities may vary based on individual and company performance.
