Opportunity Awaits, Apply Today! Oregon State Hospital is seeking a Native Service Providers-SR24 to join our Creative Arts & Therapy Program. The Oregon State Hospital in Salem, Oregon is seeking an experienced Native Service Provider. This position exists within the Vocational, Educational, Spiritual Care, Peer Recovery, and Native Services Department, which provides a comprehensive range of services to the forensic inpatient and residential populations within the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients to identify spiritual and cultural needs to determine the appropriate path of intervention in consultation with the patient’s treatment team.
• Work with patients to grow spiritually in their cultural and spiritual practice through Indigenous arts and crafts, smudge ceremonies, sweat lodge sessions, individual and group counseling to include "Talking Circles", and accompany patients on outings with OSH staff.
