National Traveling Associate Sales Representative - Neurosurgical

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage for Leaves of Absences, typically 4 weeks or longer (can be up to or exceed 3 consecutive months), for Sales Representatives in the region
  • Works directly with Sales Representatives within a region to help aid with the planning, directing and coordination of selling, marketing and portion of Stryker products, when not covering for Stryker employees on leaves of absence or supporting other business coverage needs
  • Education and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products, product functionality and updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs
  • Promotes Stryker products to doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel while providing excellent customer service and developing the customer relationship
  • Tailors Stryker’s promotional message based upon knowledge of the customer, advises on appropriate product selection, answers customer questions about product functionality and distinguishes Stryker products from those of Stryker’s competitors
  • Directs product evaluations in OR and office settings
  • Aids in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
  • Keeps sales representative informed of territory progress on a regular basis
  • Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
  • Assists in the training and development of sales personnel

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of proven work experience, medical related fields preferred
  • Prior sales or marketing experience preferred
  • Must be able to readily solve customer complaints and questions
  • Must have command of all products sold or marketed by the business unit, including functionality, features, and factors that differentiate Stryker products from its competitors’ products, and be able to disseminate this knowledge to the customer
  • Must be able to analyze territory market potential prioritize call patterns accordingly

Pay Ranges

  • USN: $70,000 USD Annual
  • US5: $73,500 USD Annual
  • US10: $77,000 USD Annual
  • US15: $80,500 USD Annual
  • US20: $84,000 USD Annual
  • US30: $91,000 USD Annual
