National Sales Lead - Wardflex Specialist
About the role
The National Sales Lead - Wardflex Specialist will focus on residential gas piping applications, primarily serving contractors, distributors, and manufacturers' rep agencies.
Responsibilities
- Excel at demand generation by professionally demonstrating Wardflex expertise and gas piping solutions to achieve sales targets.
- Promote Wardflex as the contractor’s preferred CSST brand through effective solution selling, application knowledge, and hands-on demonstrations and facility tours.
- Build lasting relationships across the residential plumbing ecosystem—contractors, distribution partners, and manufacturers’ rep agencies.
- Partner with rep agencies to ensure product knowledge, Wardflex certified sales force, sales closure, expand Wardflex placement, and achieve aggressive growth goals.
- Integrate into national, regional, and local trade associations to leverage contractor relationships for increased product adoption.
- Select, demonstrate, and promote Wardflex system solutions tailored to residential gas piping applications.
- Conduct training for contractors, distribution inside/outside sales teams, and other key decision-makers to drive brand preference and ensure organizational partnerships.
- Train the trainer: ensure our rep agencies and distribution are Wardflex certified to create demand with plumbing and hvac contractors as well as distribution in the market.
- Serve as the front-line champion for new Wardflex product rollouts, acting as the product team’s eyes and ears for field needs and competitive insights.
- Develop a consistent pipeline of contractor prospects and residential project opportunities, identify high-potential markets, and accelerate Wardflex penetration through strategic contractor conversions.
- Provide feedback from the field on installation trends, competitive activity, and contractor requirements.
- Utilize CRM, Power BI, Microsoft applications, and digital tools effectively.
- Communicate and stay in front of the audience of Regional Managers, Rep Partners, and key contractors through teams.
- Manage deliverables within the annual expense budget.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years outside sales experience, preferably within plumbing or related residential construction markets.
