About the role
Fisher & Paykel Appliances is seeking an innovative National Key Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with our key national dealer and builder accounts across the U.S.
You will serve as the brand ambassador and product expert for Fisher & Paykel and DCS full suite of products, working cross-collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing, and Territory Managers to align local execution with national account strategy.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead relationships with top national dealer and builder accounts across multiple markets.
- Achieve sales targets across the assigned national account portfolio.
- Train sellers within national dealer partners on how to best position and sell our products to end consumers.
- Deliver marketing and communication support to top national accounts.
- Participate with the sales management team in developing sales strategies for the business.
- Think like an owner and manage the assigned national account portfolio and P&L.
- Monitor competitor activity across national accounts and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated.
- Help achieve company strategic objectives, including budgeted sales and administrative duties such as timely submission of spiffs, expenses, mileage claims, and dealer claims.
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, ideally managing national or multi-location accounts — preferably in luxury premium appliances.
- Undergraduate degree or related experience.
- Background in design is highly desirable.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across multiple regions/time zones.
Qualifications
- An influencer, planner, and articulate presenter with a focus on growing market share.
- Strong relationship builder with an eye for high-level strategy and attention to detail across multiple markets and stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and savviness to close deals while fostering long-term business partnerships.
- Deep knowledge of design, architecture, or an associated field.
Pay
The total target compensation (base salary + variable incentive) range for this position is $90,000 - $160,000. This range is a guideline and may reflect factors including education, experience, relevant skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
