About the role

The National Internal Traveler CT Technologist plays a crucial role in providing diagnostic support across CommonSpirit Health's network. This position requires a highly skilled and adaptable imaging professional who can execute CT procedures efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Execute CT procedures under physician direction and minimal supervision, ensuring efficiency and precision.
• Meticulously process images and produce high-quality diagnostic interpretations.
• Apply professional judgment, critical thinking, and ethical principles in patient care and on-call duties.
• Bridge staffing gaps by providing essential patient care and participating in on-call duties as required.
• Assess patients, explain procedures, verify informed consent, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Select proper equipment, set correct technical factors, gather supplies, and recognize radiation safety standards.
• Obtain and record patient histories, assess equipment condition, and ensure all supplies are up-to-date.
• Perform quality assessments of images, report equipment issues, and participate in departmental quality improvement projects.
• Participate in and understand relevant regulatory compliance and accreditation processes.

Requirements

• Technical School Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
• Basic Life Support - CPR
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography
