National Consulting - Microsoft Enterprise Platform - Senior Manager (Architect & Solution Lead Role
About the role
The opportunity is to join EY in building, scaling, and delivering a next-generation Microsoft Enterprise Platform capability within our National Consulting Cybersecurity practice. This capability is part of EY’s strategic Microsoft partnership and broader value creation initiative, focusing on large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery or solutioning of Microsoft Enterprise Platform engagements across AI, Security, and Cloud
- Design and implement enterprise-scale Microsoft solutions aligned to business outcomes
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across security, identity, data, and cloud architecture
- Collaborate across sales, architecture, and delivery teams to drive successful client outcomes
- Support the growth and scaling of EY’s Microsoft Enterprise Platform capability
- Lead complex transformation programs and enterprise-scale delivery engagements
- Build and scale solution offerings across AI, Security, and Cloud domains
- Drive delivery excellence, governance frameworks, and quality standards
- Lead implementations across Microsoft technologies, including: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Defender Suite (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, Office 365), Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR), Microsoft Purview (Data Security & Compliance), Azure Security capabilities (Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Policy)
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing consulting teams
- Lead solution architecture and deal shaping for large-scale Microsoft platform opportunities, including enterprise transformation programs across finance, supply chain, and operational domains
- Design end-to-end enterprise platform solutions across: Azure (cloud infrastructure and platform services), Microsoft 365, including Copilot and collaboration platforms, Microsoft Security stack (Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, Purview), Data and AI platforms
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure architectures
- Support proposals, RFP responses, and executive-level client presentations
- Partner with Solution Offering Leads to ensure alignment from sales through delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud, AI, or enterprise technology
- Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, AI, or Dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to operate across both: Sales (pre-sales, proposals, solutioning) and Delivery (execution, program leadership)
- Strong client-facing consulting experience managing senior stakeholders
- Willingness to travel approximately 40–50%, depending on client and engagement needs
Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, Security, AI, or Copilot-related certifications)
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP
- Experience building or scaling practices, offerings, or teams
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO, MITRE, or Zero Trust architectures
- Experience supporting AI, data modernization, or cloud transformation initiatives

- Base salary range: $170,600 to $390,000 in the US, and $204,800 to $443,200 in the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento)

Pay
The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $170,600 to $390,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $204,800 to $443,200.
