NASDA Part-time Field Enumerator - Jackson County

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth interviews with agricultural operators in person and over the telephone.
• Collect and enter detailed data on crop status in corn or soybean fields.
• Carry up to 40 lbs. and walk up to 100 yards unassisted on uneven ground.
• Travel up to 250 miles on a quarterly basis for training.
• Report daily progress, time, and mileage.
• Communicate benefits in all survey-related activities.

Requirements

• Prior experience in sales or agriculture.
• Working with diverse personalities.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer systems and/or iPads.
• Experience working in a deadline-driven environment with multiple tasks.
• The ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. and walk unassisted on uneven ground for up to 100 yards.
• The ability to travel up to 250 miles on a quarterly basis for training.

• Starting salary of $17.75 per hour.
