Nanny Position: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Flexible

About the role

Smart Sitting is seeking enthusiastic, creative, and driven babysitters and nannies to join our network. We place for flexible, part-time, and full-time nanny positions in various locations including New York (Manhattan and Brooklyn), New Jersey (Jersey City and Hoboken), and flexible positions in New York (Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau County Long Island, and Westchester County), Philadelphia, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality childcare in a safe, nurturing environment
• Support the emotional and developmental growth of children
• Collaborate with families to create a positive and engaging home environment
• Adhere to Smart Sitting's core values and maintain open communication
• Maintain a family-friendly social media presence

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent professional experience working with children, ideally including in-home childcare experience with a consistent, long-term schedule
• Average of at least 2 and ideally 3 strong references from recent professional childcare or childcare-related positions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrate a passion for working with children
• Show problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and comfort in communicating openly with others
• Able to work with Smart Sitting for at least 6 months
